Professor Li is an internationally leading scientist in the field of Green Chemistry. His highly original contributions to the development of environmentally benign organic reactions have found applications in the synthesis of advanced pharmaceutical ingredients and direct modifications of biomolecules and transformed the approaches of the fine chemicals industry. In Germany, Professor Li will focus on research on sustainable modern Organic Synthesis.
